Greg and Carlita Walker

Peace Be Well is owned and operated by Greg and Carlita Walker. In August 2006, out of their own story of brokenness and restoration, God gave them a vision to provide a place for pastors to rest and renew. While they have not served in vocational ministry themselves, Greg and Carlita believe God has uniquely prepared them for this ministry through decades of experience as human services professionals.
Greg’s passion is studying and teaching God’s word. He encourages believers to know what they believe and why they believe it. Greg finds working in the yard therapeutic. Bringing ailing plants back to life, brings him joy. He continues to lovingly prepare the Peace Be Well grounds for future guests.
Carlita enjoys discovering God in the ordinary things of life and writing about these treasured moments in the form of devotions and short stories. She gets excited about creating the memes and prayers posted on Peace Be Well social media sites because it continually connects her to the people God is calling her to serve.
Together, Greg and Carlita enjoy relaxing at home, spending time with family and friends, and traveling. Their favorite place to unplug is in the mountains of North Georgia where the pace is slow and nature abounds.
